Asana

Within the physical practice of yoga (asana) there are a variety of styles to suite anyone’s needs. Libby guides a range of classes, from Flow/Vintasa to Sekoia™, and Restorative yoga for people of all ages and abilities.   • Relax & Restore integrates a combination of relaxing and restorative yoga poses, breathing exercises and meditation – all focused on relieving the built up stress and tension in our bodies and minds. This is a great class for those new to yoga, those looking for a more relaxing practice focused on stress relief or anyone with physical limitations or injuries who still want to take advantage of the benefits yoga has to offer. Intensity: low. Heat: 75-78 degrees. (Sundays, 7:00p)

  • Sekoia™ is your invitation to a vibrant multi-sensory yoga experience. Sekoia's holistic approach blends smooth vinyasa flows with music, essential oils, meditation, restorative poses and reiki. (Wednesdays, 7:30p)

  • Flow references a vinyasa style of class, which means “varying something in some way”. In vinyasa yoga classes, students will experience a sequence of fluid movements coordinated with the breath. (Thursdays, 6:30p)

 

Pranayama

Pranayama is the fourth limb of yoga; the regulation of the breath through particular techniques and exercises. Our breath is our life force! Pranayama is known to help purify the blood and the respiratory system, as well as:

  • Reduce anxiety and depression

  • Lower/stabilize blood pressure

  • Increase energy levels

  • Relax muscles

  • Decrease feelings of stress and overwhelm
